Brandy Alexander-Ingrediants-kitchen-poster of Lackawanna Railroad

In my kitchen preparing to make a Brandy Alexander with crème de cacao, brandy and cream.

The Brandy Alexander is very sophisticated drink with a lot of intriguing history. (Thanks to curator at the Everhart Museum Nezka Pfeifer and Sarah Piccini of the Lackawanna Historical Society who shared this history with me) This video is in honor of my Aunt Kathy Shean, who was an amazing aunt and woman and who gave me my first sip as a curious child. It is a great cocktail when you crave something sweet but not over the top. I use one oz. of each of the following: brandy, crème de cacao and cream. Shake! Sip! Enjoy!

In memory of Kathy Shean (1946-2007) who told her niece and nephew wonderful stories, loved the French language, Impressionist paintings, chocolate, horror movies, Brandy Alexanders, Cape Cod and the book The Little Prince.
